Who Runs the Camps?

Arnesby Camps Planning Team


We organises the camp throughout the year and ensure that all arrangements are in place.  Each team member is from the local area and have a varied range of knowledge and skills that contribute to the safe running of the camps.

Nathan Ling

Nathan has several years experience of leading and organising children's events.  Nathan works jointly with Young Life and Arnesby Baptist Church introducing people to the Christian Faith.

Roles: Team Leader, Treasurer


Ellie Ling

Ellie is married to Nathan and grew up in Arnesby.  She is passionate about working with children and has lots of experience through the church and has done a gap-year at The Oakes Christian Camp Centre.

Johnny hutton

Born and bred in Leicestershire, Johnny has Pastored Arnesby Baptist Church since 1999.  Johnny has been on camps as a camper and has many years experience running camps in Leicestershire and further afield.

Roles: Camp Oversight


Val Hutton

Val is married to Johnny and together they have lived and worked at Arnesby Baptist Chapel for over 20 years. She is mum to four children and has lots of experience in caring for children and people of all ages.

Mollie Hutton

Mollie works in a school for autistic children with the hope of one day becoming a primary school teacher. Mollie married Joseph in 2019 at Arnesby. In her spare time she loves sports, cooking and spending time with family.

Roles: Team Development, Activities Organiser

James teaches at an SEMH school in South Leicester. He regularly helps with young peoples groups at Braunstone Evangelical Church of which he is a member.
